Kalladka Flyover Fully Opens, Easing Traffic Woes on Mangaluru-Bengaluru Highway

Bantwal, June 26, 2025: In a major relief for commuters, both sides of the 2.1 km long flyover at Kalladka—built as part of the BC Road-Addahole stretch widening project on the Mangaluru-Bengaluru National Highway—were opened for traffic on Wednesday.

Earlier, on June 2, only one side had been made operational, forcing vehicles from both directions to share the same lane and causing significant traffic congestion. With the complete opening now in place, vehicular movement has become significantly smoother, drawing appreciation from daily commuters and transporters alike
