Solar Parks to be Established in Dakshina Kannada

Mangalore: The Ministry of Renewable Energy has directed the identification of land for setting up solar parks in Savanoor, Subrahmanya, Nelyadi, and Kadaba. Following this, Dakshina Kannada MP Capt. Brijesh Chowta has instructed the Kadaba Taluk Tahsildar to submit a report within a week regarding the identified locations. This move is part of the central government’s initiative to promote renewable energy and reduce dependency on conventional power sources.

MP Assures Development of Kodimbala Railway Station

During a public grievance meeting, local residents of Kodimbala in Kadaba Taluk requested the development of the Kodimbala railway station to enhance connectivity and benefit the region’s population. Responding positively, MP Capt. Brijesh Chowta assured the gathering that he would discuss the matter with concerned officials and strive for the station's upgradation. This initiative is expected to provide significant convenience to the residents and boost the area's development.
