MP Captain Brijesh Meets Shipping Secretary to Boost Rani Abbakka Legacy

MP Captain Brijesh Chowta met the Secretary of Ministry of Ports and Shipping Shri T K Ramachandran in Delhi.

MP Urged for the establishment of a Maritime University named after our legendary warrior queen Rani Abbakka in Mangalore - a befitting tribute on her 500th birth anniversary.

The University aligns with Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's Maritime Amrit Kaal Vision 2047.

MP also sought the facilitation of the active participation of the New Mangalore Port Authority (NMPA), which is celebrating its Golden jubilee this year, in commissioning a Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the same.
