Love Turns Fatal: Man Stabs Woman, Dies by Suicide in Farangipete Tragedy

Mangaluru: A horrifying incident rocked Farangipete on Monday, as a long-troubled relationship ended in bloodshed and death. Sudheer (30), a resident of Kodman village, allegedly stabbed his former partner Divya alias Deekshitha (26) following a heated argument. The two had been in a relationship for nearly eight years, but recent months saw increasing strain and distance between them.

On the morning of July 7, Sudheer confronted Divya, demanding marriage, and when tensions escalated, he reportedly attacked her with a knife. Divya tried to flee but collapsed while escaping. Believing she was dead, Sudheer proceeded to her rented house and allegedly died by suicide by hanging. The Bantwal rural police have registered a case and launched an investigation into the tragic incident.
