Four Teams Formed to Probe Suhas Shetty Murder: Home Minister

Bengaluru, May 2, 2025: The Karnataka government has launched a high-level investigation into the murder of Suhas Shetty, which occurred in Bajpe on Thursday night. State Home Minister Dr. G. Parameshwara announced today that four dedicated teams have been formed to probe the case, assuring the public that the culprits will be brought to justice swiftly. Addressing the media in Bengaluru, he noted that while Mangaluru was showing signs of returning to peace, the recent spate of violent incidents in the Dakshina Kannada (D.K.) district has raised serious concerns.

To ensure law and order in the region, additional police forces have been deployed, and the ADGP has been dispatched to Mangaluru to oversee the investigation. Dr. Parameshwara confirmed receipt of the preliminary investigation report and firmly stated that those responsible for the murder will not be spared under any circumstances. He urged the residents of Dakshina Kannada to remain calm and cooperate with authorities, emphasizing the government's commitment to restoring peace and security in the district.
