Mangaluru: Members of the BJP Mangaluru City North Constituency held a strong protest today outside the Surathkal City Municipality office, accusing the Congress-led state government of following anti-people policies. The protestors voiced their frustration over delays in 9/11 approvals under the 94C title deed scheme, issues with the e-Khata system, and the halt in old-age pension and Sandhya Suraksha payments. They also condemned the cancellation of valid BPL cards and the refusal to accept new ration card applications.
The protestors further alleged that the state government has not provided any special grants to the Mangaluru City Corporation for the past two years. Local BJP leaders, including MLA Dr. Bharath Shetty, led the protest and demanded immediate action to address these public grievances.
