Kotekar, Karnataka – In a brazen act of robbery, an armed gang stormed a prominent bank in Kotekar, making away with cash and valuables worth lakhs on Wednesday evening. The robbers, reportedly six in number, entered the premises disguised as customers before brandishing weapons and taking control of the situation.
Eyewitnesses described the ordeal as terrifying, with the robbers threatening staff and customers to comply. The heist, which lasted barely 15 minutes, saw the gang emptying the vaults and fleeing the scene in a getaway vehicle.
Police have launched an intensive manhunt, with CCTV footage being analyzed for clues. Local residents have expressed concerns about rising crime, demanding swift action from authorities to restore safety.
